This is a small and simple control unit for road marking. It is designed for small 1-line road marking vehicles. The Piccolo is provided with 12 pre-programmable line cycles and solid lines with or without water gaps and is proveded with a built-in Totalizer. The water gaps can be performed automatically or manually. The Piccolo manages the bead gun or extruder valve and the bead gun separately. The start of the bead gun can be delayed by a Tandem function which takes into consideraton a displacement of the gun opening controlled by the movement of the vehicle. The Tandem function also simplifies Aqvaflex functionallity. A delay function that compensates mechanic, pneumatic and hydraulic delays is built-in. Repainting can be performed automatically as well as semi-automatically. The Piccolo is connected to an encoder that measures the movement of the vehicle and is calibrated to an accuracy of 0,2%.
